Meet the owner: Rachel Snitowsky LCSW
Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Natural Medicine Facilitator
I Care Deeply ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE TREAT THEMSELVES WELL AND ENHANCE THEIR LIVES BY LOVING THEMSELVES FULLY.
THINK OF ME AS YOUR PERSONAL CHEERLEADER, YOUR SELF-LOVE ADVOCATE, AND YOUR COMMITTED COMPANION ON YOUR JOURNEY OF SELF-IMPROVEMENT.
MY MISSION IS ROOTED IN THE BELIEF THAT YOU TRULY DESERVE TO PRIORITIZE YOUR WELL-BEING; AND I'M HERE TO SUPPORT AND EMPOWER YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.
I am a playful and warm-hearted therapist. I am kind, authentic and direct.
I am not a passive therapist who only sits and listens. I will be involved in session with you, asking questions and giving feedback.
I will respect both who you are and where you are at in your journey. I will challenge you if you need a push, and I will be there when you need compassion and understanding.
I’ll cheer you on and hold you accountable. I will help you understand yourself, as well as your mental and emotional needs.
I’ve been a therapist for 10 years and I LOVE this job! It is an honor to be a part of people learning to live their truth and heal in safe spaces.
I am spiritual. I am woo woo. I’m neurodivergent. I am queer. I have tattoos. I love yoga and do MMA for fun.
I have my own journey with anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, psychedelic healing and grief.
I am an open book and happy to talk about who I am and my lived experiences.
I am progressive and social justice oriented in life and in my work. I am white-passing mixed race. I care deeply about supporting queer people and couples.
I love sharing memes / reels and cussing is more than welcome in my office. I will be myself in our sessions and want you to be yourself, too.
I deeply believe it’s important to be fucking real. Humans are messy and imperfect and that is a beautiful thing.
I welcome everyone. You will be safe in my office.

Testimonials
Kind words from past and present clients
Individual therapy:
Rachel has profoundly impacted my life for the better. She is kind, intelligent, and most importantly, safe. She has always been supportive, compassionate, and works to help me grow. I always felt accepted and understood and knew she was helping me. Our work together has been life-changing.
She has a gift, and I think it’s why a lot of people gravitate toward her, she helps people feel like they’re not judged. They know that their idiosyncrasies aren’t terrible. She reminds people they’re human and that making mistakes is okay and that figuring out who they are is a positive thing.
GOTTMAN METHOD / EFT Couples therapy:
Rachel is the embodiment of her profession. Her work means something to her which is realized in how she has worked with us as a coupe. Rachel has given us a renewed confidence in our relationship, tools for the days when things don't go quite as planned, and the patience to trust that we are not damaged; just human.
Her style is positive, assertive, and importantly: accessible. Rachel is able to navigate individual challenges and manage their effects on relationships in a way that is both compassionate and straight forward. She's communicative and easy to work with, focused, and goal-oriented.
Everytime we leave a session with Rachel, we talk about how sometimes she wasn't our counselor because she feels like a trusted friend that we'd like to spend even more time with! We can't say enough good things about her. She's truly what the world needs more of.
Retreats and Plant Medicine:
I felt so safe.
The session itself was intense but wonderful and I am so thankful I got to explore inward in such a safe space. I am still processing what I experienced that day and I am so grateful for the things the medicine showed me and wanted me to pay closer attention to in my life. That experience will stay with me for a long time (and I can't wait to do it again). I would recommend this to almost everyone in my life as it just helps you understand yourself and the way you relate to the world around you in a better (and sometimes new) way.
